This IWC Ingenieur 3227-01 in steel on steel bracelet was sold in August 2008. It already has the later movement modifications to solve the reliability issues of the first calibre 80110 movements. I am the third owner of this watch. One of the previous owners imported it from the United States to Germany. This Ingenieur is worn and shows slight signs of wear, however I think that the signs of wear are a lot less than what one would usually expect from a five year old used watch. Most probably this Ingenieur was never polished and has beautiful, sharp edges on both case and bezel. All case bevels still show the factory polish and have sharp edges. The bracelet is in good condition as well. There might be cheaper Ingenieurs available. Those mostly are older and / or in bad condition or badly refinished. Like for example the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak only professionals should work on the Ingenieur case or it will end with rounded edges and wrong brush pattern. This is a nearly full package including box, paperwork, warranty card, bracelet tool and all bracelet links. Only missing item is the outer paper box. I am located in south west Germany and I'd prefer a personal deal in south west Germany. Of course it is also possible to send the watch nationally or internationally at buyer's cost. I will only ship insured and will state the full value on tax declarations. Buyer is responsible for all customs interaction that might be necessary.
