Hello,

An original Genta sports watch in steel from the 70s, just like the royal oak and nautilus, only this one also houses an in-house 8541 movement with IWC's famed Pellaton winding system and it's antimagnetic. Too bold for its time, only fewer than 600 pieces were made.

This watch is from my personal collection (you can find photos I posted about it in the forum). I'm looking to part with this as I'm shifting direction in my collecting.

I bought this watch from a prominent online dealer couple years ago. The watch was serviced by a vintage specialist watchmaker in Hong Kong in fall last year. It keeps good time and winds smoothly. There're probably some slight polishing from various sevices in the past as there're neither obvious scartches nor dings on a 40 years old watch, but it's certainly retained the case definition. The watch is all original (inlcuding the mesmirizing waffle dial, the hands, the fish crown, the bracelet), apart from one spring bar in the clasp which was replaced at the aforementioned service due to wear and tear for a watch that's approaching half a century. It would be invisible to the naked eye and completely unseen when the clasp is closed.
