Doing some collection realignment and never thought I’d let this one go. Simply a work of watchmaker’s art, rarely seen on the secondary market. Limited Edition of 300 watches made in 18kt Yellow Gold. The ultimate expression of the art of chronograph-making. Its Jaeger-LeCoultre ‘Dual-Wing’ movement is a genuine micromechanical work of art featuring two independent power reserves – one of them entirely dedicated to a chronograph offering unique performances: hour, minute and seconds hands, a minute-unit indicator and a jumping seconds hand with reset function. The other for telling time with its independent sweep seconds. Both have 50 hours of reserve. Comes triple boxed, with the original books, tags, plastic wrap, silver JLC loupe, dealer-signed warranty card, polishing cloth, and gorgeous collector’s wooden box.
I’m on the original owner, and with humble admiration of this piece of haute horology, I have to say the dual wing, the most gorgeous movement from a manufacturer, this side of Lange Double Split. Case construction to take your breath away. 390 parts. The limited edition YG features a retro vibe with a cream colored dial, so rich against the brushed and polished case, blued and gold hands and multilayered dial. The engraving on the back case is gorgeous. And the double deployant is JLC’s best. Water resistant to 5ATM. Case size 42mm, height 13.5mm. Buckle size 20mm. List price, if you can find one. $45K.

It has been worn sparingly since I acquired it new. I would rate it easily at 963%, “Near Mint” per Purist guidelines. It includes everything that originally came with the piece as purchased new from a JLC AD.
