Jaeger LeCoultre Original 1968 Polaris

Absolutely original and fully complete 1968 Polaris Memovox. To my knowledge, this watch has not been modified nor any parts (including crystal) changed since manufacture. It has been in my family for over 30 years. The movement keeps good time and the automatic function operates correctly. The centre alarm can be set and wound OK and goes off noisily! There are a couple of faults which are reflected in the asking price:- The centre winder button comes off when pulled and so will not set the outer minute bezel. The batons cannot be set when the 4pm button is pulled and turned. The watch can, however, be wound manually via this button. The Polaris is being offered in this condition to allow any new buyer the opportunity to decide how far he or she would wish to go with renovation, restoration or overhaul. There is no bracelet, box or papers supplied with the watch. Please see photos, more can be taken if further clarity required.
