Jaeger LeCoultre 40 s white gold dimonds and Marcasite

This is a 40s Jaeger LeCoultre "Beau Brummell" or "Ghet" model In the extremely rare Solid 14k white Gold with Diamonds around the dial and Marcasites set on the case. I have never before seen another of these watches as the production numbers were extremely limited and this was the most expensive version of this model including a glass Cristal and solid white gold case and case back. The movement is all original JLC manual wind/ (Vacheron-LeCoultre 17 jewels) and is keeping perfect time

There is a matching buckle and it is set on a custom Stingray (Shagreen) bund style strap lined in Kangaroo and stitched with pure silk thread. The strap was made by Erik Phairss ( pharissdesign.com) and cost $1500 usd.

I felt that the bund style strap would really bring this watch into the 21st century and would once again make this watch a Mens timepiece. However the buckle is an Original JLC. The watch itself is 31mm wide without crown and measures 38mm with the width of the bund strap.

The condition of this watch is near perfect and quite excellent considering its age.
There are a few cosmetic slight scratches on the Cristal and case
which could be taken out and there is one marcasite that fell when cleaning. I will include a Marcasite to put in its place but I do not know a qualified jeweler to replace it and the price reflects this.
