Kari Voutilainen GMT-6

This Kari Voutilainen is unique. It is a GMT-6 fitted with an in-house designed movement, pure German silver plated with rose gold. Surface of bridges with frosted finish. GMT function at 6. New direct impulse escapement with two escapement wheels. It is fitted with a free sprung balance (with Grossman interior curve and Philips exterior curve, beating at 18,000 vph.) Diameter of balance wheel is 13.60 mm. Wheels in rose gold. GMT time is read from the disk situated at six, inside of the printing of the small seconds, indicated by the triangle. The GMT disk revolves one turn in 24 hours and to make it more visible, there is a day and night section which are hand engine turned. The GMT disk can be adjusted by pressing the crown down, one press advances the disk by one hour. The dial is made from solid silver and it is engine turned by hand in Voutilainen workshop.
