Description

This is an extremely rare (and probably unique) Kari Voutilainen Observatoire in stainless steel. The watch is in LNIB condition and comes with box, original strap, papers, including Bulletin de l’Observatoire de Besançon. The case is 38mm and 10 mm thick. It is fitted with a Peseux with a free sprung Guillaume balance and a Grosman coiled balance spring. The observatoire has attained a cult status among watch collectors because of the beautiful work made by Master watchmaker Kari Voutilanen. It is considered one of the most precise competition caliber ever made ; the Peseux 260. More about the Observatoire :

Watch is one of the few Observatoire made by Kari and the only one I know is in Stainless steel. Its ownership is well documented .
