FS: Longines L990 Heritage 39mm Rose Gold Calatrava from 2009 - tribute to the legendary L990 movement
L990 - legendary movement, the last in-house movement for Longines, made in 1977, right in the middle of the quartz crisis. At the time, the thinnest automatic movement ever made!
In 2009, Longines made a limited edition tribute to the great L990: this very watch you see here, with the amazing L990 movement in it, see through back, and a dial to die for - very Patek like, their best modern dress watch.
39mm Rose Gold case, only 9mm thick (perfect proportions) cream dial, dauphine hands, applied gold markers, sweep seconds. Absolutely beautiful.
Compare this dial side by side with a Patek 5296 marker dial, as I have - you will be blown away. You will not find as nice a dress watch for double what I am asking, pictures do not do this one justice.
Nothing Longines makes today is anywhere near the level of this beauty, discontinued, impossible to find as they rarely come up for sale. Comes on Longines strap, with Longines gold plated buckle, and the original Warranty card for the watch.
