Description
What a watch!
The finishing is just exquisite, with polished beveled angles, done by hand, gold chatons, levers that are straight brushed and then chamfered, a main plate entirely circular grained (even the hidden parts), Geneva stripes on the bridges, internal angles. The movement is a whopping 38.4 mm (!) diameter, so the case is really filled. Montblanc Villeret's signature arrow, the so-called “devil’s tail” is clearly visible and the balance wheel is old-school; huge and screwed.
Sadly it is hardly getting any wrist time so I have to let it go to someone who will actually wear it like it should be worn; often.
