Omega Constellation Classic

It is a 1966 Omega Constellation, Cal. 551; Case # 167.005/6; Reg # 24418009 in near mint condition.

This watch is a 14K solid gold, 24 jewel, officially certified automatic manual wind chronometer. It has its original champagne colored convex dial W/ gold onyx inlaid dauphine markers & hands. It has the much sought-after dog-leg lugs. It is adjusted to 5 positions & temperatures. It has a well-defined observatory W/ eight distinct stars on the back case. It has a new old stock Omega leather band (size 18) W/ gilt Omega buckle. It is signed five times. This Constellation is believed to be one of 37,000 non-date, non-pie pan models and was designed by Gerald Genta, one of the icons of horology. It received complete restorative servicing by Omega in April, 2009 (parts replaced were the crystal (new old stock), gaskets, and crown....I have the original 10 pt 14K gold crown and will send it to its new owner).
