Solid 14kt yellow gold and stainless steel cased Omega Constellation Caliber 564 watch in exceptional, unrestored condition.
The case, number 168 018, has a solid 14kt gold bezel and heavy gold capping on the main body and lugs. The screw-on back is stainless steel with a sharp, unworn gold Observatory Medallion in the centre. The entire case is in superb condition with the only mark being a tiny scratch on the back. The original brushed finish is clearly visible on the bezel, the case sides and the lugs
The beautiful silver dial is exactly as it came out of the Omega factory. It is UNRESTORED and has NOT BEEN REFURBISHED in any way. Even under magnification, there are no marks or patina visible. The gold markers are inlaid with onyx and the hands are unmarked.
As you can see from the photos, the movement is caliber 564 Chronometer with 24 jewels. The movement number is 31161558 which indicates 1969 manufacture. The date can be quick changed by pulling the crown one stop past the setting position.
The crystal is free of any marks and has the Omega logo at centre. The crown is signed and original.
The case is 35.2mm in diameter with 36.9mm across the crown. The case thickness is 11mm with 40.5mm across the lugs. The band width is 19mm.
