Hi folks,
Clearing out all my Omegas, making way for a grail... this is the last wave of fire sales...
This is a watch that needs no introduction I believe. Watch looks really in excellent shape, I especially love the solid gold lugs version. The lugs are really different from the gold capped or stainless steel one. Very curvy and sensational.
The case looks very well maintain, very likely to have a really light polished and no more than that. The engraving at the back of the case are still very strong and the hallmark solid gold marking at the back of the lugs are visible. Sorry, not able to capture that with my lousy lenses. The observatory logo is still looking great with details that have not been polished away like many.
The dial looks really clean and hands are almost spotless. Movement looks really clean and I do not know the service history but I just have the movement checked this morning by a watchmaker and run great on his machine. Serial number is 16,xxx,xxx which is made in around 1958. A great example for a daily wearer or simply form part of your "white elephants".
Here is the actual picture of the watch:
Priced firm, first person to offer USD 1,800 takes the watch. When was the last time you see a nice Omega solid gold case that cost less than USD 2k?
Wire payment appreciated.
Solid trade references for nearly a decade will be provided upon request. In doubt, do a google on my email address. I have been around.

Thank you for taking time to view this, have a great week ahead.
IF the above photos do not load, means watch is sold.
