Omega Ladies Gold Plated

Up for sale is a 1950's gold plated ladies manual wind Omega dress watch. It comes on a black croc print strap which measures a total of about 7 inches in length. The gold plate is rate at 20 microns as it described on the inside of the case-back. The crystal has some magnification to it and the inner bezel on the watch features bevels that reproduce a mirrored/sparkling effect . The dial is silver and shows signs of wear. The watch measures 17.5mm in diameter by 23mm. The numbers found on the movement are: 511 166 and 22783029. This watch comes without box and papers. The watch is running and keeping good time. However, as with all vintage pieces, do not expect this to run as accurately as a modern-day quartz watch or even a modern chronometer. Vintage pieces keep good time, but are by no means as consistent as modern watches. THIS PIECE IS NOT WATER RESISTANT. This is a fun watch but is not recommended for everyday wear. It may also be necessary to wind old watches once a day. They do not typically have the same power-reserves as modern watches either. Watch is sold "As-is".
