Description

Call me crazy: Why not, everyone else does! “On the Way to Going Broke” I find myself at an age where I only need one great watch, not a dozen. Now I need to sell/trade my precious Homage to allow this last personal indulgence. Having chased one of these Limited Edition Omegas for almost a decade, I found this beauty (NOS) about a year ago. Mine is 100% OEM Complete including the original undamaged outer white cardboard book-cover box. Most important: This one was never worn thus no need for a new strap or any repairs. Because of my fat wrist I bought an expensive Hirsch London alligator strap and RG plated Omega tang buckle. Thus the original alligator strap and RG buckle have never been worn. In fact I have only worn this beauty a hand-full of times. Because of I’m better able to read a dial with more color contrast; I was able, with Mike's (MSN Watch) to source the correct Omega blue steel sweeps to match the small minute sweep. My Patek trained watch-maker was able to change these for the original RG sweeps without any damage what-so-ever. Needless to say: The OEM unblemished sweeps are included. Both original Rose Gold sweeps and Steel Blue sweeps with new strap changes are shown. Now asking a much more reasonable $8,000.US OBRO! We can discuss the method of payment depending on your personal references. I’ll pay insured USPS Priority Mail, insured with signature, CONUS only. Others pay actual shipping costs. Additionally I offer a 3 day return with the buyer paying all shipping costs. All of the above being said I have found a most suitable “daily beater” for less money than I anticipated. This the dramatic reduction in my asking price. Whatever questions, additional scans or references, just ask. Regardless, thanx for your “time”. Speedmaster or Daytona?
Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional ref. 310.30.42.50.04.001 with manual-winding caliber Omega 3861 and 50 m water resistance vs. Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116500LN with self-winding caliber 4130 and 100 m water resistance. Author prefers Omega despite water resistance drawback.

“All the hype, none of the fun.” Discuss.
Swatch x AP release and MoonSwatch generate hype and excitement. Swatch focuses on fun and fashion at affordable prices. Limited editions like AP and Journe lack the same enjoyable experience.

RDS suggested a Geneve I posted recently would be suitable for James Bond in formal attire. How about a Constellation Tuxedo:
RDS suggested a Geneve watch for James Bond; how about a Constellation Tuxedo? The Omega, Seamaster, 007 Edition, and Vintage Geneve are key.
