Description

Stainless steel case and bracelet, Black dial, White Gold Bezel, Date & Moon Phase indicators at 12,Chronograph Functions, Manual Wind Movement 48 Hours Power Reserve. Recently bought as LNIB/Mint condition and 100% OEM complete. I down graded to VG only because I've worn it on pretty much a daily basis. Most would rate this watch as Mint. Once again my poor eyesight prevents me from enjoying this beautiful face and all it's glorious functions. Thus my need to trade for the color contrast of an Omega Apollo IV. This is the only trade I have interest in at this time. At least I think it's "the only trade" ;-) I would consider adding reasonable "sugar" for a watch in similar condition as mine. "Mickey" much prefers a trade to a sale, however as the Godfather said: "Make me an offer I can't refuse" ;-) More scans or whatever, just ask. Thanx for your "time", Miki

📖 About This Reference

The Omega Constellation collection has long been synonymous with chronometric precision and elegant design, a reputation firmly established by models such as the reference 575.20. Produced between 1968 and 1972, this era represents a golden age for the Constellation, known for its refined aesthetics and robust movements. The 575.20 exemplifies the classic dress watch appeal of the period, offering a timeless design that continues to resonate with collectors who appreciate mid-century horology. The Constellation reference 575.20 is presented in a 33 mm stainless steel case, a versatile size that was common for men's dress watches of the era, and which today is often appreciated by both men and women seeking a vintage aesthetic. A silver dial provides a clean and sophisticated backdrop, typical of the understated elegance Omega pursued for its premium Constellation series. The overall design emphasizes a harmonious balance, reflecting the collection's commitment to a jewelry-watch duality, combining precise timekeeping with an undeniably dressy presentation, though distinct from the later integrated bracelet designs or 'claws' of the 1990s. Powering the reference 575.20 is Omega's automatic Caliber 712, a testament to the brand's horological prowess during this period. The Caliber 712, known for its slim profile and reliability, contributed significantly to the wearability and prestige of these Constellation models. With a water resistance rating of 30m, the watch was designed for everyday wear and protection against splashes, consistent with its dress watch intentions. For collectors, the 575.20 represents an accessible entry into the vintage Constellation lineage, offering the allure of a mid-century Omega automatic with a classic aesthetic that remains highly desirable.

Art, since it's looking like we are never going...
Tony decided to join the 321 club instead of playing pool. He fell in love with an Ed White Omega watch while originally looking at James Bond Seamasters. The bracelet is comfortable, the movement winds smoothly, and he is pleased with the timepiece after 3 hours of wear.

comment Upon further review I now realize how much I miss wearing a vintage Speedmaster. That being said: I much prefer a trade for an all original 145.022-68 Transitional. No expensive 1039 bracelet and 516 end-clips necessary. Depending on condition and/or some service history adjustments if needed. Thanx for your "time", Miki
