99.9% MINT. Not worn since returned by Omega
This watch was just returned to me by Omega USA. There was a problem with the winding mechanism. Omega also overhauled the watch (they do that no matter what?). They replaced the bezel, crown, pushers, hands (not sure why. The watch was nearly new) and the faulty movement parts. The original parts (see photo) & Omega service box & work order will be included in sale. The replacement parts are identical. Omega also re-finished the case, bracelet and clasp.
This watch is as good as NEW. Not a scratch to be found. Please inspect photos carefully. Photos are of actual Speedie 108/1957.
Unfortunately, the original box & accessories were lost by my better-half during our cross country move. I promise she will forever pay for this mistake. The price of the watch is reflected in this tragic loss.
Watch specifics:
Movement caliber: Omega 3201 Co-Axial
(Omega says that this in-house movement will only be put in the LE 1957 watch)
Hand-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and Co-Axial Escapement for greater precision stability and durability. Free sprung balance, with hour, minute and small seconds hands, central chronograph hand. White rhodium-plated movement with special wave decoration, circular-graining and gold-plated engraving.
Power reserve: 55 hours
Dial: Black enamel dial is absolutely gorgeous. Pics don't do it justice. The finishing is as high-end as it comes.
Bracelet/Clasp: Thick, heavy and solid. Not flimsy and clanky like Rolex.
