- Very rarely available Panerai with 10 days power reserve in-house movement. Hot model? Nah…..
- The automatic PAM270 was made to address the issue of manual winding PAM233 which need > 400 manual wind. The high number of windings on PAM233 3 spring barrels is not only intimidatingly tiring but caused high wear & tear on the winding stem. This contrast starkly with the JLC mvmt inside PAM190 that only needs > 80 wind to get 8 days of reserve. Anticipating future problem that has not occur on PAM233 yet, Panerai quickly came out with PAM270 that uses the same 3 spring barrels but with an oscillating weight to automate the winding to prevent wear & tear on the stem from manual winding. Is this true?? Pls dispute me.
