A fantastic timepiece in a 44 mm polished stainless steel case. It is a Luminor model with the patented Panerai locking crown. It has a white dial and tritium painted hands. The black numbers on the dial are striking against the white dial and accentuated by the black Pre Vendom black calf strap with white stitching. Also rare is this strap with the sewn in Pre Vendom Logo buckle. My favorite feature of this time piece is the solid case back with the engraved and blackened Sylvester Stallone signature. The watch is new never worn complete with box and papers.
One of the 200 watches Sylvester Stallone contracted Panerai to make commemorating his movie in 1996. Sylvester gave these watches to the producers and other movie stars that appeared in the action movie "Daylight". Almost all were given to Stallone before the take over by Richemont. The ones given out before are considered Pre Vendom and are considered to be more collectible. This model is number xx and is in the Deno Zei book which shows this number to be a Pre Vendom piece. It has original strap & Pre V logo buckle, mahogany box and libretto (paperwork).
