Description

PRICE: $23,000 USD firm. If I do not sell this watch at this price, I intend to be keep it; however, if you have an AP Offshore Forged Carbon - i am open to such a trade. DETAILS: Extremely rare, 40mm, beautifully finished by Panerai - Zenith El Primero movement is the soul of this watch, SS-Titanium on the case (very rare combo) and bracelet (each link is composed of eight parts), Limited edition of 100 units (this one is number 12). The only Panerai watch on the bracelet to feature the Flame-Orange second hand (Very limited indeed; Panerai has only produced 155 watches with orange second hand throughout its history). The dial is 2-dimentional, and the counters are of silver color. This arguably is the best looking 40mm Panerai. ORIGIN: I'm the first and only owner of this watch. It was purchased in person at a Panerai boutique in Florence and comes with all receipts, warranty card, certificate, special edition scroll, box key, and original documentation. 100% COMPLETE: All boxes (2) and original accessories are in pristine condition (let me know if you would like to see the pictures of any particular item) CONDITION: 99% Immaculate condition with no signs of wear. The watch can be shown in NYC/NJ area for your consideration. GUARANTEE: Very simple, no-games policy: I guarantee the watch to be complete, in Immaculate condition, authentic and genuine Panerai OR YOUR MONEY BACK.

📖 About This Reference

The PAM108 represents Panerai's approach to chronograph complications within the Luminor Chrono series, distinguished by its mixed-metal construction combining titanium and steel elements. This reference brings together the brand's signature case architecture with timing functionality in a 40mm format. The brushed titanium case measures 40mm in diameter and houses the Calibre OP IV automatic movement. A polished steel bezel provides material contrast against the titanium construction. The watch features a 3.7mm sapphire crystal and maintains 200-meter water resistance, suitable for recreational water activities. This reference appeals to collectors seeking Panerai's chronograph capabilities in a lighter titanium construction while retaining steel accents. The 40mm case size positions it as a more accessible option within the Luminor Chrono range, offering the series' functionality in proportions suitable for varied wrist sizes. The mixed-metal approach distinguishes the PAM108 from single-material alternatives in the collection.

A Panerai 122 arrived this week!
I've been looking to acquire a PAM 122 for more than a year now and have found that these pieces are pretty hard to come by. I'm told that only 250 where ever made. Production was stopped before the whole run was completed in 2003 due to the fact that Zenith quit supplying movements to Panerai. Asid

Jumping off the Panerai bandwagon
I posted the below as a response to an existing post already yesterday, but think it might just deserve a post of its own. As is clear, my love / passion for Panerai has cooled down significantly. Don't get me wrong, I still think they are very appealing watches and technology is getting better and

Where are all the 40mm Panerai's???
Looking at SIHH this year I've noticed that Panerai hasn't released anything in the 40mm Luminor case size and over the last few years there hasn't been many new 40mm releases period. I would guess its because the 44mm models and above sell a lot better but I think most people new to Panerai do try

19K for a simple titanium watch isn't cheap .... BUT
Does anybody know more about the production cost for a rare watch ? The thing is, 300 pce is very rare. We all know a zillion of other so called limited watches. AP, Panerai, Hublot, even Patek . Let's take an offshore for example. You just don't want to know how many LE's the make. But are they rea
