Description

Rarely seen on secondary market. New quick release system (strap interchangeability) plus new runner lever and new bracelet attachment so you wear it with a strap or the best bracelet Panerai has ever produced IMHO! New case back engraving with OP logo. Case is titanium (44mm). WR: 300 meters. Movement is OP IX (Valjoux 7750-based). When I saw this watch in the catalog, I thought how boring. Once I saw it in real life, I was floored. In the pictures, the silver subdials look like an afterthought, but in the metal, they are amazing and it adds so much character to the watch! Did I say the old style push-button, double deployant, bracelet rules?

Condition: Mint. Some microscopic swirlies on the steel part of the bracelet. Watch and bracelet have not been polished nor serviced. Running perfectly. All boxes, papers, bezel protector, movement sticker, COSC, 3 extra links, changing tool, screwdriver, warranty card, just as if you bought it from an US AD (which is where it came from).

Price: $7450 including overnight, insured CONUS shipping. International shipping will need to be discussed. (list price: $9900). Many, many references available. Please, no trade offers.

📖 About This Reference

The PAM00171 represents Panerai's Luminor Power Reserve series in a 44mm case configuration. This reference combines the Luminor case architecture with power reserve indication functionality, distinguishing it from standard time-only Luminor models within the collection. The watch features a 44mm case constructed from titanium and steel materials, paired with a matching titanium and steel bracelet. The black dial provides the foundation for the display, though specific movement details and power reserve indication layout are not specified in available documentation. This reference appeals to collectors seeking Panerai's Luminor design language with additional complications beyond basic timekeeping. The titanium and steel construction offers an alternative to all-steel variants, while the 44mm case size aligns with Panerai's standard large-format approach. The power reserve complication adds functional value for those prioritizing mechanical awareness in their timepieces.

Curious what Paneristi think
I'm curious to hear what you Paneristi think about the PAM624 or 625. I must admit that the 10 days movement is just lovely but at the same time I have some second thoughts about it being an automatic movement with power reserve indicator on the dial. Both the sunburst dials are in my opinion fantas

PAM 171 vs PAM 104
Hi, i have been looking for one and trying to reserve it with one of the AD. However, after 12 months i still cant get it for my preferred PAM 171. But received a call from AD said i am lucky that a 104 is on its way. They advice me to settle with 104 first cause no chance to even know when the 171
