Next to the PAM 21, this is the most collectible of all modern Panerai in the world. These were made in a very limited edition and it is said that the president of Panerai choose those important collectors that were to receive this special timepiece. For this reason, the PAM 203 is rarely found in the secondary market.

Like one of the original vintage Panerai watches, this watch has a vintage Angelus 8 day movement that is nearly identical to the original. This 47 mm stainless steel case with a sandwich chocolate/grey dial is historically correct and simply magnificent! The gold hands, sub second hand and logo's " Luminor Panerai" and "8 Giorni Brevattato" give this watch character that no other watch has... or ever will have again. Of course the patented locking crown tops this watch off and makes it the perfect specimen in my humble opinion.

It comes in a huge pearwood presentation box with all the "goodies" that you see in the picture. Included is an authentic hand made WWII Ammo strap made from 65 year old army leather from WWII making this package complete and spectacular!

Movement: hand-wound mechanical, Angelus SF 240 movement. 16 lignes, 15 jewels. 18,000 alternations/hour. Incabloc® anti-shock device. Power reserve 192 hours.

Functions: hours, minutes, seconds.

Case: diameter 47 mm, brushed steel.

Bezel: polished steel.

Back: see-through sapphire crystal.

Device protecting the crown: (protected as a Trade Mark) polished steel.

Dial: brown, with luminous hour markers and Arabic numerals. It consists of two superimposed discs: the top one is perforated with the numerals and hour markers while the lower one is covered with a thin layer of Super Luminova . Small seconds at 9 o'clock.

Crystal: sapphire, made from corundum, 2 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating.

Water resistance: 100 metres.

Strap: PANERAI personalised leather strap and large size steel buckle. Supplied with a steel screwdriver and a second interchangeable strap.
