PAM00228 Movement: automatic mechanical, exclusive Panerai OP VIII calibre, 13¼ lignes, 21 jewels, Côtes de Genève decorations on the bridges and PANERAI personalised oscillating weight. Glucydur® Balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. Incabloc® anti-shock device. Power Reserve 42 hours. Chronometer Certificate (C.O.S.C.).
Functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, date, second time zone.
Case: diameter 44 mm, AISI 316L brushed steel.
Bezel: polished steel.
Back: screw, steel. Front of the Panerai Boutique in Florence engraving.
Device protecting the crown: (protected as a Trade Mark) polished steel.
Dial: blue with luminous hour markers and Arabic numerals. Small seconds dial at 9 o’clock. Date at 3 o’ clock. 24-hour indication on the edge.
Crystal: sapphire, formed of corundum, 3.5 mm thick, magnifying lens over the date at 3 o’clock. Anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance: 300 metres.
Strap: alligator with PANERAI personalised steel buckle. Supplied with a steel screwdriver and a second interchangeable strap.

This watch is in excellent condition, having just been serviced at the Panerai Service Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
The case has been polished, the bezel is new, and except for a hairline scratch by a lug, the whole front of the case is impeccable. However, there are some scratches at the bottom of the engraved case, probably from the buckle having rubbed the bottom of the case.
The watch comes with a brand new blue crocodile strap, brand new rubber strap, as well as a brand new buckle. I will also be including the original blue croc strap which is in very good shape.
The watch has never been worn underwater or used while playing sports.

The watch comes complete with the special edition wooden blue box, the blue box with the sticker, and all the required paperwork, including the original 'bill of sale' from Firenze Italy.

P.S. This watch, along with the 2 other Firenze Special Editions in 2005, are the only Luminor Panerai's in 44mm that have this beautiful 'blue dial.' There are other 40mm Pam's with this dial, but to the best of my knowledge, none in 44mm.
