Up for sale is my Panerai PAM98 Radiomir GMT/Alarm from my personal collection.
This is a stunning watch but is simply not getting enough wrist time now I seem to have become obsessed with vintage rolex sports watches so sadly it is probably time to let it go.
This is one of Panerai's most complicated watches as it has an alarm and GMT function all in one. This model is now discontinued and as it was only built in limited runs of 500 expect values on this rare model to really start increasing. Also this is one of only a few Radiomir models that were ever made at 42mm. Most Radiomir models are 45mm's and larger which are really not very wearable for normal sized wrists in my opinion.
This watch is number G401 from 500 produced and was made in 2004. I would rate the watch as 95% or better with the strap having had light wear and there only being 5 or 6 tiny tiny micro scratches maybe 1mm long around the strap changing screws - you really need to move the watch around in the light to try and see them and won't see them at all under natural light - I'm probably being pedantic here but would rather you knew exactly.
The watch comes with all original inner and outer boxes and pearwood case. all original paperwork, documents and guarantee card are present and the beautifully decorated Gerrard Perregaux Calibre 59 movement is keeping good time.
The watch retailed at over $10,400 in the US and over 7000euros in europe and is has not been in production now in the UK for some time. Trying to find one of these watches is nigh on impossible and finding one in this condition harder still!
