Description

Up for sale is my mint PAM 106, D Series,00X/500 given a full service at PASC last year at PASC [PASC Service Documents are available] and in Mint condition. Watch was worn in limited rotation, and titanium bracelet shows light swirls on underside from desk diving. The PAM 106 is the titanium submersible on bracelet, T Dial and gorgeous anthracite dial that appears grey to blue in various lighting conditions. Set includes outer blue box, inner pearwood box, extra link and caseback bracelet screws, manual and libretto, COSC and blank warranty card. Also included is an OEM 1/2 link from Panerai to make a finer adjustment on the bracelet. I would rate the watch conservatively at better than 95%

Credit for below Photos goes to Sean McCaffrey as I purchased the watch from him in June of 09 and not getting much wrist time hence the reason for sale. Sale Price is $6,250 OBRO including shipping and insurance for CONUS buyers only. Face to face deal in the New York City area is OK as well. Payment by wire only and Numerous references available, will assume same for you. Best Contact is [Email address suppressed for privacy] or 516.992.8201

📖 About This Reference

The PAM00106 represents Panerai's Luminor Submersible series in a 44mm configuration. This reference combines titanium case construction with a black dial presentation, positioning it within the brand's diving-oriented lineup. The 44mm case is constructed from titanium, offering reduced weight compared to steel alternatives. The black dial provides contrast against the titanium case material. The watch carries the distinctive Luminor case architecture associated with the Submersible series. This reference appeals to collectors seeking titanium construction in the Luminor Submersible range. The 44mm case size places it within contemporary sizing standards, while the titanium material offers an alternative to traditional steel variants. The PAM106 represents a material variation within the Submersible collection for those prioritizing lightweight case construction.

A comparo came to mind after pulling out La Bomba...
Much has been made of the size of the 5976, and while we can all read of its dimensions and mass, I thought laying the Naughty alongside a few of the original "big" watches may be telling. Panerai test subjects include PAM 64 - aka La Bomba - and PAM 106, my first timepiece and therefore my wife\'s

Which one to accompany me?
Dear PuristS, I am going on a trip to virtual 'end of the world'. Of course, I need a watch to accompany me. Please let me know what you think. First a few parameters: North of 71st parallel Temperature outside from -20 to -40 with icy winds and snow Spend some time outside, spend more time inside (

I have a question: What made you buy your first Panerai?....
because you liked it, because you "saw the light" (Blues Brother's style) because of its "cult" status? Because you'd had enough of mainstream timepieces? Because...because....because..?

I thought I would share my Luminor Submersible Pam 106.
This a Sub you don't see to often, the Pam 106 with anthracite dial. This is a D series with T dial. They only made the 106 in D and in E in a run of 500. Some of the E series have a L dial. The difference between the Pam 170 and the 106 is the 106 has brushed steel and titanium and the 170 is polis

What are the current production 44mm models with bracelets?
I miss my PAM91 which parted ways with me some time back. I am wondering since then, what are the current production of braceleted 44mm models out there. If anyone can help - esp with pictures, I would be interested to find out. Cheers!
