Description

Sellers Comments:

Sadly another watch has to go to raise funds, so for sale is my Panerai PAM190 (H series) with the 8-day JLC movement. I have had the watch from new for about 8 months.

The description below is pretty much the same as for the PAM249 that I sold late last year (and which I miss!) as the PAM 190 is pretty much in the same condition. I am sure the purchaser of the 249 will be a reference for me, and I do have other references too.

This is not a safe queen and has been worn. The watch is in excellent condition with a few scratches on the reverse near the screw holes from where I have changed the strap (and you cannot see them anyway when wearing it) and a scratch on the left side of the case which I am sure will polish out but I have not bothered as a) it is hard to see and b) I was going to wait until the watch needs a service. The original strap has been worn about 20 times and the watch comes with all boxes and papers, plus I will ship it with the Zeugma strap shown in the picture.

I am sad to let this go too as it was my first Panerai and I am a big JLC fan so it was the best of both worlds. I hope it goes to someone who will wear and enjoy it.

I am looking for USD 8,900 plus shipping, paid via bank transfer.  Watch is in the UK but I am guessing that there will be a bigger market for it in the USA hence the price in dollars (plus the exchange rate helps in that regard).

I can provide references as a seller and more pictures on request (although you will perhaps have seen many of them as I posted them here in the forums). This picture is the one with my old 249.

Thanks for looking.

Regards.

Simon

📖 About This Reference

The PAM00190 represents Panerai's Radiomir 8 Day Power Reserve model within the Radiomir 8 Day series. This reference delivers extended power reserve functionality in the brand's cushion-shaped Radiomir case format, distinguishing itself through its manual-winding movement and eight-day running capability. The watch features a 45mm polished steel case fitted with sapphire crystal and rated for 100-meter water resistance. The black dial provides contrast within the steel case construction. A fixed bezel surrounds the dial, while the manual-winding movement requires daily interaction from the wearer to maintain the extended power reserve function. This reference appeals to collectors seeking substantial case presence combined with manual-winding engagement. The PAM190 offers entry into Panerai's extended power reserve complications while maintaining the fundamental Radiomir case architecture. The combination of 45mm sizing, steel construction, and manual movement positions this model for enthusiasts who prioritize mechanical interaction and substantial wrist presence.

Panerai 217 Destro circa 2005.
Panerai 217 Destro from 2005 is a timeless piece with less crystal distortion than the Panerai 127, calling for more wrist time.

My three time-only watches
The PAM 190 continues to be one of my favorites. While it’s the biggest watch I have at 45mm, it wears really well due to the wire lugs. I like the substantial weight, especially when comparing to the IWC, while not small, weighs a lot less in part due to the plexiglass. And it’s such a delight to w

comment Hi Simon
Been in touch with you at the Horomundi forum some time ago, and as far as I can see this 190 is absolutely a safe buy - though still a bit expensive.
I might be interested in the 190, and I know during this week if my funding is OK (hopefully).
Through my JLC AD here in Norway I’ve been given the opportunity to get the new JLC Polaris (1968). This one is from the first batch. I don’t know if I can keep it due to the lack of funding (I want more a nice Rad or a Sub). Therefore the Polaris still is at my AD waiting to be picked up.
If the Polaris is of any interest of you, there are two ways of getting it. The first way is to travel to Oslo and get it yourself. You will then also have the opportunity to get a tax refund, which means about 20% off MSRP. The second way is to have me to bring it to you this week end. I’ll be in London from Friday afternoon till Monday morning. You will not then get the tax refund.
Send me a message if you by any chance are interested in this deal. My mail address is:
