Description

I recently acquired this rather beautiful watch as a trade. Incredible piece, but not my style. I believe I am the third owner.

The leather strap on the watch is around 75% and on this basis I would say the watch has been worn a few times, but there are no visible scratches on the watch, indicating careful previous owners.

Included in the package are a brand new leather strap and rubber strap. Also included are all three boxes, all papers including the LE certificate, pusher tool, plastic case cover and various other bitsies. (See photo.)

Price is A$25,000. Payment via wire only to my Australian account. No trades thank you. HK, Korean and Japanese buyers may be interested to know that I am based in Shanghai. I will also be travelling to Sydney soon and could deliver the watch there.

As a sweetener I am throwing in a brand new Panerai full-grain leather iPad/document holder (which smells beautiful!), and the Giampiero Negretti book "PANERAI" still untouched in its plastic wrapping. These are collector's items in their own right for the discerning Paneristo.

Here are some photos I took the other day. Below the photos are some technical details of the watch.

📖 About This Reference

The PAM002 represents Panerai's Luminor Base series in a 44mm configuration with polished steel construction. This reference distinguishes itself within the Luminor Base range through its steel case material and black dial combination. The watch features a 44mm polished steel case paired with a black dial. The case construction utilizes steel throughout, finished with a polished surface treatment that provides a refined appearance compared to brushed alternatives within the series. This reference appeals to collectors seeking a substantial 44mm case size in steel construction. The PAM002 serves as an accessible entry point into the Luminor Base collection, offering the series' fundamental design elements in polished steel. The black dial provides strong contrast against the polished case, making this reference suitable for those preferring classic color combinations in their collection.

Comparison of early series 24C and 25H. 25 offers tritium value. Impressive dial angle in 25.

Greetings fellow Paneristi…a question for the experts
Paneristi Jon L. seeks explanation for discrepancy in production numbers of Panerai A-series watches. Found Pam00002 A-series with case back reading A1107/1500, conflicting with reported 1000-piece production.

no perpetual calendar, no seconds counter, no coffee brewing buttons to be pushed, no chimes etc. If there's Nemo inside, you'll have to open and look, because in this model there is no "looking glass". comment Just noticed a discrepancy between the advertised price and the price quoted in the body of the advert text.

Just to clarify: I'm looking for US$24,000 on this piece.

Also some info on the original MRSP: originally offered at around US$33,000, later price increase to US$35,000. Those prices are approximate as there was some variation from country to country during a time of great volatility in currency markets.

Thanks.
