Description

Officine Panerai Luminor 1950 Left-Handed 3 Days Acciao - 47mm - PAM00557

When Panerai launched the PAM127 back in 2002, it was a great success. Three years later Angelo Bonati (CEO of Panerai) gave the green light for a left-hand version. In 2011 the PAM372 was again a great success, and the next year, at the SIHH the lefty version was introduced as the PAM 00557 Luminor 1950 3-Days 47mm.

The PAM557 is equipped with an in-house movement. The hand-wound calibre P.3000 has a power reserve of three days, and was completely developed and made in the Officine Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

The movement has a distinctive structure with two large bridges, which hold two spring barrels and all the gears in place. The large balance wheel, which measures 13.2 mm in diameter, has its own bridge, offering maximum stability for the regulating organ.

A very nice feature is the rapid time-changing device: the hour hand is moved in jumps of one hour at a time, without interfering with the minute hand or the running of the watch.

What to look out on this model

Nº 142 out of a limited annual edition (milesimato) of 800 pieces. Mint condition, never worn. Slight marks of the buckle on the strap due to the sensitive nature of the “camel” like leather. Box and papers. 2-year guarantee.

📖 About This Reference

The PAM195 represents a specialized variant within Panerai's Luminor Marina collection, distinguished by its PVD steel construction and Paneristi designation. This reference occupies a specific position in the brand's catalog as a treated steel iteration of the 44mm Luminor Marina format. The 44mm case utilizes PVD steel construction with a matching PVD steel bezel. Technical specifications include 300-meter water resistance and a 3.5mm sapphire crystal fitted with a magnifier. The watch operates on Panerai's Calibre OP III movement, housed within the brand's characteristic Luminor case architecture. This reference appeals to collectors seeking PVD-treated alternatives within the Luminor Marina range. The combination of the 44mm case size, specialized coating treatment, and Paneristi nomenclature positions the PAM195 as a distinct option for those preferring non-traditional steel finishes in their Panerai collection.

What have you been wearing this week? I'm still loving my Panerai PAM195!
I've been wearing my PAM195 this week. I finally got it back from Panerai service, which took only 1 month, so it was a pretty quick turnaround time. My winding stem somehow broke (my first watch to ever do so), so Panerai did a complete overhaul and now watch works perfectly and keeps great time on

Which Panerai is on your wrist today? Let's see some pics!
I switched to my PAM195 a few days ago, and I still am loving it as much as the first day I got it. The PVD coating still looks brand new and has a beautiful black gray color to it. I even have it on the original strap too! Which Panerai are you wearing today? Cheers, Anthony This message has been e

ok, so here's the idea that hits my mind .... I'd like to put some blue hands on my 195, making it look like the Tantalium 172 of course I would keep the original hands .... what do you think ?? Any idea if this a hard shop to do for a watchmaker ??

Most of you probably know the 360 is a limited ed. launched for 10 years Paneristi, only 300 pc will be made ! I must say I like the vintage look with the patina coloured dial and hands, but on the other hand it's a pitty they didn't made a bigger difference with the 195 (same logo, same PVD look, s
