Thought through to the last detail and in keeping with the grand company tradition, the Florentine watch manufacturer PANERAI reinterpreted many elements of Italian marine divers watches when creating the Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante Left-Handed 8 Days Titanio PAM00579.

The hand-wound PAM00579 calibre P 2004/9 consists of 329 parts and contains a Glucydur balance wheel, a KIF-Parechoc shock absorption, three spring barrels and a column wheel. The movement with a power reserve of eight days is contained in a 47 mm casing. It can be watched through the transparent back made from sapphire crystal. The casing is made from titanium, which ensures the PANERAI PAM00579 is hypoallergenic. Despite its size, the PAM00579 is not only lightweight but also made for the long term as the titanium is corrosion resistant even in seawater.

Only the titanium button for the chronograph function is placed on the right-hand side of the case at 2 o’clock. The clear dial shows on the outside the minute ring where even the quarter second can be read exactly. At 3 o’clock is the little second, at 9 o’clock the minute counter. Nothing distracts from the essential; the brown dial is extremely easy to read. Its limited edition makes it a very interesting watch for any Panerai collector.
