Description

I have from my personal collection a 5041g for sale. It comes complete with all boxes and papers. The paper is dated and named. Asking $83,800 and priced to sell. My grail piece is coming in and I need to trim my collection to make room for it. There are 3 for sale on the Internet for $99,000 or more going all the way up to $125,000 asking. One only comes with the archive paper. One not only just comes with the archive paper but is also missing the original winding box. Certainly you will not see another example at a lower price and in better condition. The watch is worn sparingly so it is in pristine condition in line with careful wear under the cuff of a shirt.

The following is a desciption of the 5041g by Antiquorum: In production from 1995 to 2003, reference 5041 is undoubtedly the rarest and probably the least produced modern perpetual calendar. With a total production believed to be from 30 to 40 units only, the ref. 5041 (available in white gold only) had various minor differences in comparison to its sister reference 5040. - The bezel: while reference 5040 has a rounded bezel, this reference has an enlarged, flat bezel. - The dial: only available in black on reference 5041, its differences lie mainly in the outer minute markers (rather than a rail track, it has simple dot markers) and the Breguet numerals rather than Arabic numerals.

Not interested in any trade at the moment. I am selling this piece to fund the purchase of another piece. Price is firm. If you are seriously interested and have available fund, please PM me for pics or make me an offer. Thank you for looking.

Are auction prices 'real'?
Sotheby's auction in 2025 saw low prices for Patek watches: 5270G for 95,250 Euros, 5960P for 40,640 Euros, 5070G for 50,800 Euros. Author questions low prices, especially for recent models. Seeking insights and comments on the matter.

Patek 3700 Crystal - Bezel gap question
Just acquired a vintage Patek Philippe 3700/1a (1977) with a polished finish. Slight gap on crystal noted, wondering if it's normal. Overall happy with the purchase. Videos uploaded for clarity.
