Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5056P

I have from my personal collection a brand new sealed 5056p for sale. It comes complete with all boxes and papers. The paper is un-dated and un-named. Asking $38,000 priced to sell. One (not sealed, with a spot at 5o'clock on the dial, dated and named paper, etc.) was sold by Christie's in HK recently for over $37,000. You will not be able to find another example in such "straight from the factory" condition at a lower price. I have come across one at a watch show in lesser condition (missing everything except the watch) yet asking for eqaul or higher price.

The 5056p has been discontinued since 2006 (production runs from 1998 to 2006) and has become a collector item. It is the only Patek series that is offered in a single metal vs others such as the 5146 or 5035 series which come in different metals. Patek started with the 5056p the practice of putting a diamond on the bezel to signify the platinum metal. The slate grey color dial on the 5056p is also the first of its kind. In my opinion, it is certainly the most beautiful Patek Annual Calendar.
