Description

Patek Philippe Travel Time 5135P

This is the manual wind Patek Philippe Travel Time 5135P.  This piece is in LNIB condition.  The watch is in perfect condition.  The asking price of this watch has been adjusted to reflect its exceptional condition.

The 5135 models are annual calendars that are part of the Gondolo collection.  The 5135 case is a work of art in its own right; it's a complicated multi-part case that has significant platinum heft to it.  The parts have to be made with utmost precision for the pieces to close in on one another, it is not a typical screw-back or snap fit rear case.  The 5135P in platinum is the top version of this watch, in addition to being made of 950 platinum it features a very special detail; two reasonably sized diamonds on the dial at 3 and 9 o'clock position.

Condition:  Watch is in PERFECT condition, and has been gently and carefully worn seldomly.  Fanatical care has been exercised when this watch has been worn.  Watch is part of a multiple watch collection and is worn infrequently.  Watch has never been polished.  No case damage, never dropped, watch runs well.  Sapphire crystal has no chips nor scratches and is in PERFECT condition.  The bezel is in PERFECT condition and shows the watch was never polished.  Strap is in VERY GOOD condition and the tang clasp is in VERY GOOD condition. Unlike a watch that is offered at an auction house or at a dealer, this watch will not show any of the aforementioned wear and tear associated with auction houses or dealers.

Provenance: All box and papers are present.

Guarantee: Assurance of a fair transaction considering a WatchProSite moderator is handling the sale.  As a moderator of WatchProSite, you can rest assured that I won’t disappear on you.

Key points:
1.  Watch is almost new and in excellent condition.  Could almost pass for new condition!
2.  Watch comes complete with presentation box, outer box, manual, Certificate of Origin paperwork, additional paperwork, and leather folder.  Watch is complete.
3.  Purchased from an authorized retailer and is offered from the original owner.
4.  Watch is located in California.

5.  Watch is in excellent condition.  This watch is as close to new as can be.  There is a price premium associated with this watch due to its condition.

6.  WatchProSite Moderator Handling the sale.

📖 About This Reference

**Patek Philippe 5135P** The reference 5135P represents Patek Philippe s Complicated Annual Calendar series in a platinum configuration. This 38.2mm reference was produced from 2006 to 2014, positioning it as a mid-sized complication within the manufacturer s complex watch offerings. The annual calendar function distinguishes this model from simple three-hand references while remaining below perpetual calendar complexity. The 5135P features a 38.2mm platinum case fitted with a fixed bezel and sapphire crystal. The white dial provides contrast against the platinum case material. The automatic Cal. 324 S QA LU movement delivers 48 hours of power reserve, with the watch maintaining 30 meters of water resistance. A leather strap completes the configuration. This reference appeals to collectors seeking Patek Philippe complications in precious metal cases. The platinum construction and annual calendar function target serious collectors prioritizing complex mechanical displays over sport functionality. The eight-year production run from 2006 to 2014 provides reasonable availability within the secondary market for this complicated reference.

The most important watch in my life
Ok guys- bear with me as there is a bit of a story to the two watches. The Patek is a 5135. I gave this to my father for his 70th birthday years ago. It was the most expensive watch I had ever purchased and the best watch I ever purchased. I gave it to him and he cried. I cried. My mom cried. It was

Automatic vs. Manual winding Patek?
Hi, I’m still new in this forum. I’m considering a reference 5153 which is automatic or a say Travel Time ref. 5134. Thoughts on automatic vs. Manual winding? Thank you

not that often ....
not often am I completely wrong but in this case I guess I did not understand the market. I believe the 5135 is Patek's best annual calendar ever made. others like the 5146, 5205, 5396 are nice pieces for sure but not one has imo the strong character like the Gondolo case 5135. And ... it has a grea

Seems like in Patek, "round" watches are definitely in and "form" watches are definitely out. My view is very different. What is your view?
For many years at least through the 1990s, vintage form watches, especially rectangles, were viewed as more desirable (and valuable!) than round watches, at least in time only watches. But that is no longer the case. The 5135 was revolutionary - a jumbo 50mm rounded rectangular ("tonneau") case with
