My first Patek: the underrated 5134G Travel Time.
Considered multiple watches before finding Patek 5134G, a neo-vintage gem with unique design. Hybrid dress and sports watch, manageable proportions, distinctive dial, easy travel operation. Minor downsides, but great value and appeal.

Patek strap letters (A91 vs C34)..?
Anyone understand the system for these indications? Obviously there’s the large engraved B or D for buckle or deployant. But what do secondary *printed* letter 2numbers combos mean? I thought maybe matte vs shiny or thick vs skinny but by looking at the numerous I have of all letter and number convo

Movt under 103745 PP do have a movement, produced in 1895, and sold as a movement only with its dial on August 3rd, 1896.
MikiJ Nov 7, 2019
Maybe a typo... Maybe produced in 1995 and dial in 1996, not 1895 and 1896?
Dr No Nov 7, 2019
The movement and dial might well be late 19th century, Miki . . .
. . . but undoubtedly cased in the late 20th.

Thanks for keeping an eye on CM!  I might not have caught this had it not been for your questioning.
