I am offering my Patek 3970 EP from 2004. This watch is in rare condition and will please the purist collectors who are sticklers for originality like myself. This is the white silver dial version of the watch, much more desirable and more rare than the black dial with diamond indices. The dial is original to the watch as confirmed by the certificate of origin.
Many if not most of these watches have been polished to the point where the original lug and case architecture has been lost. This example is an exception.
The watch comes as a complete set, including all paperwork, boxes, setting pin, extra platinum caseback and platinum deployant, as well as the original strap. I currently wear it on a 16mm platinum Patek pin buckle, which will also be included.
The watch has been very carefully worn over the past two decades. There are faint hairlines across the case, and a few tiny desk-diving marks on the bezel where it meets the crystal. It is truly in remarkable condition for a watch of its age.
The service history is unknown, but as the timegraph readout indicates, it is running exceptionally well and all functions work perfectly. Trade offers will be tough since my eyes are set on some rare vintage Pateks, part of the reason why I am moving this one.
$155,000 USD + insured shipping, OBO
Since this is a high value watch, I would be happy to pay for middleman fees if it makes the buyer more comfortable.
Happy to answer any questions.
