The iconic and skeletonized Mille watch. I thought this was my grail when I purchased it and I swore I’d never sell it. When it first came out, I dismissed RM as a flash in the pan. But I was dead wrong. Once a well-known watchmaker gave me a 45-minute tour of the RM-10, I was hooked and looked for a long time until I found this one. What an amazing, technical tour-de-force of innovative design and use of space-age materials. As the tag used to say, “a racing machine for the wrist.”
I’m proud to say I’ve worn this watch and enjoyed it so it show some signs of wear. This was not a safe queen! However, it was in rotation with many, many watches so it was worn carefully by a WIS and well cared for. However, as with any Mille watch, there are hairline scratches on the bezel and there’s a small ding at 3:15. If you’re looking for a watch to wear and enjoy, look at this one. It’s priced right (for WG, which lists at $64K).
