Description

Hi folks,

I have the pleasure to sell this, once in a life-time find, a NOS (yes, a real NEW OLD STOCK) vintage Rolex Daytona ref. 6263, complete with its original box, papers.

This watch is easy to describe, as there is no other things to mention, other than to say, "its a New Old Stock, 99% mint". So where did the other 1% go? As a NOS, other than it is a new watch, never worn, this is a 31 year old watch, there are bound to have blemishes that are almost invisible to the naked eye and the tritium compound present in the dial and hands are toned to a beautiful ivory beige. See the pictures to believe.

How do I know its a NOS and not polished? The lugs edges are crisp sharp (VERY sharp), original unmistakable factory finishes, blades on the clasp are very tight like a new watch should, and as a collector for almost a decade, and have the opportunity to see many watches, I can confirm this is a brand new old stock watch.

The original paper-like caseback sticker (bearing the Rolex coronet and ref. 6263) is almost like new, and it is currently being protected by a clear sticker, with another piece of properly cut out paper to prevent the Rolex caseback sticker sticking onto the adhesive of the clear sticker.

The boxes and papers are worth mentioning... (when did you see a FS ad mentioning about these?) brand new with no dog ears, and so new, these are worth a fortune on its own!

It is a common practice that collectors find boxes after they got the watch to complete their set. But not this one here. See below, one of the picture exhibit that the box truly (& faithfully) belongs to this watch, ref. 6263, with a silver colored circular sticker that represent the color of the watch dial. This clearly shows that the whole set is original TO the watch! (Of course, the papers matches the watch serial number)

Enough of my words... See below pictures of the watch to believe:

I am asking for USD 40,500 for this rare watch, shipped to your doorstep. I will only accept wire or cash on delivery. I can do a meet up in person, or to your country if you will pay my tickets smile

Please do not ask me to remove bracelet to show you the serial number to match. I will only do that if you are a confirmed buyer at your request as I do not want to damage any part of the watch.

If the above pictures do not load, means watch has gone to a good home. I can be reached at reficul_x AT yahoo DOT com

Solid trade references upon request. Please ONLY do this part when you are a ready buyer.

Introducing my new (to me) GMT Master 1675, dating all the way back to 1966 😎
Acquired a vintage 1675 GMT-Master with black bezel from 1966. Although it has a replacement dial from the eighties, it is a forum favorite with domed acrylic crystal, sharp lugs, and jubilee bracelet. Prefers dial font.
