Rolex Submariner 5513

i am selling one of my prized possessions simply because i dont wear it much and need to cut down on numbers. too many watches and not enough wrists. this watch is a 1964 5513 rolex submariner in original condition and original riveted bracelet. the bezel had faded to a lovely grey which gives it lovely character. the case has a few marks but not as many as you would expect for a 50 year old dive watch. the dial is a white font metres first item. i understand that these were only made until 1967 so although it is not the original gilt dial it is a very early service dial. why a dial should be replaced so early in its life i have no idea, but it still looks superb. the movement works superbly, the crown screws down as it should. it comes with a green rolex pouch to protect it. there is one 'fault' with the watch. the bezel doesnt turn and i cant figure out why. it does pop off if you really want to take it off which i have done once to see what the problem is, but cannot find anything wrong. it has the spring steel ring underneath it. i think it just needs some lubrication to get it turning, but as i dont dive i decided to leave it as it is which i'm sure is what any new owner will do. i am open to sensible offers, but we are all aware how desirable this watch is so i think the price is reasonable. i have great references on here and ebay and was until recently a very active member of the forum so am known by many of the moderators and members.
