FS SUPER RARE!!!/STUNNING Ref:6263 "Sigma Big Red" Daytona 63

From my own personal collection, I'm offering for sale one of the RAREST WATCHES in my collection; a Rolex 1974 (4.1 million) ref: 6263 "Sigma Big Red" Daytona (produced for only 1 year).
This is the rarest of the rare 6263/6265 Daytona's (1970-1987).
It's a extremely rare occasion to see one of these pieces come up for sale.
I did quite a bit of research on the "Sigma Big Red", in addition to corresponding with some of the "Top collectors" in both Europe/USA and read a number of articles/books + 16 years experience in collecting Vintage Rolex Sport models.
The Sigma symbol (a letter in the Greek alphabet) represented by two slightly slanted "o's", alongside the O TSWISST O, signified that the markers on the dial were made of white gold.
Rolex used the sigma symbol (6263/65), upto the "mid-70's", at which time the Sigma symbol was dropped and the "Big Red" lettering was incorporated.
******* However, this watch marks the "transitionary period" whereby Rolex used "BOTH the "Big Red" lettering combined with the "Sigma" symbol" for a very short production run (approx. 1 yr. batch).*******
Based on my extensive research, it was determined that the serial range for this EXTREMELY RARE DIAL VARIANT: "Sigma Big Red" Daytona, is approx. 3.9-4.2 million. Yes, there will always be the unexplainable watch" that does not fall within this range, however according to my Top Collectors + personal research/experience, this is ONLY serial number range that I would feel comfortable in purchasing.
As such, this means that the Sigma Big Red was only produced for 1 year. This is supported by a well known Italian magazine; OM orologi & Market, September 2009, which had a comprehensive article on screw-down Daytona's (illustrating pics of the "Sigma Big Red" Daytona).
I believe that the Rolex Daytona, in particular the 6263, is one of the most beautiful watches ever produced by Rolex. I know it's a bit over the top, but I believe this model belongs in the Museam of Modern Art (it's design is so perfectly executed,...just simply a beautiful mechanical piece of art).
To find a nice original sigma dial 6263 Daytona, is becoming increasly rare.
To find a "Sigma Big Red" Daytona, produced for only 1 year,.... MAY BE A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY.

Dial:
Rolex 100% original "Sigma Big Red" Daytona. What can i say,.... INCREDIBLY SUPER RARE DIAL!!!!!!!!, BEAUTIFUL condition, with beautiful patina (gorgeous vintage look) and custard color lume dots, and 100% matching color hands (erosion to some of the mini lume, which is very typical of these early Daytona's amd commensurate with a watch that is 38 years old). Very tiny, microscopic line, just above the 3 o'clock register, virtually imperceptible (I'm just being very picky for pointing it out, as most sellers would'nt even bother). Original tachymetre black bezel insert, small smudge around 150 marker, but otherwise one of the BEST MK2 tachymetre bezel inserts that Ive seen.
Overall, a VERY beautiful dial (and super rare!!!) with great vintage vibe.
Case:
Rolex 100% original. Case condition is amazing condition with super thick/fat lugs. All serial numbers, case numbers are 100% clearly visible (4.1 million). The case is stamped 6263, caseback has all the correct Rolex stamping, including 6265, which was typical, 100% period correct, as Rolex used 6263/6265 caseback's interchangably, (same situation with 5512/5513 models).
The watch also comes with it's original "smooth pushers", very, very rare to still find these beautiful pushers for a watch that is 38 yrs old.
Movement:
Rolex 100% original. According to my dealer, the watch has recently received a full movement over-haul. However, unless the servicing is done directly by my watchmaker, I ask you to assume that it is not over-hauled, and if it is it's simply a bonus.
I had my Rolex trained watchmaker (works at an Authorized Rolex Dealer) check the movement, and he stated that it was in excellent condition, winds smooth, all chronograph functions work perfectly & keeping good time.
Bracelet:
Rolex 100% original 78350/571. Excellent condition.
