Description

Hi. This is a first-generation 1675 with fabulous original "mini-plot", "exclamation point", "minute track" gilt dial. It is in excellent (92%) condition all around. The dial and hands have perfectly matching creamy lume (a bit darker than shown here), and the "ghost" of the exclamation point is clear. The dial shows some age in the lacquer along some edges (as shown in the photo), but the minute track is clear and present all the way around. The case has likely been buffed at some point, but the lugs are quite thick, and the bevels are still visible. The early folded Jubilee shows little stretch, and is dated a few years later. The insert is likely an early replacement, but I can't be sure. All in all, this is among the nicest early 1675's I've ever seen. It has everything the discerning collector would want in one: Pointed crown guards, thick case and a killer, complete dial. I had it serviced by a local qualified watchmaker within the past 5 years. It is running right and keeping excellent time. I'm offering it at a reasonable $13,800, wired and shipped in the US preferred.
