FS: Speake-Marin Resilience – 42mm If you are reading this, you likely already know what a truly special watch this is, made by one of today’s master independent watchmakers. While words like “stunning” are often thrown about when describing a piece, the term truly fits this one. This is one of Peter’s latest creations, a 42mm true fired enamel dial model with heat-blued custom hands, harkening back to his best selling Piccadilly classic. I purchased the watch a day ago and tried it on exactly once. It is otherwise unworn and is 100% perfect in every way. As much as I adore it (and I do), I am more of a sport watch person at heart and I just can’t justify keeping it. Retail (if you can find one – Peter does not make very many) is $16k. My price is $11k. Comes with everything as new. I prefer US sales but can discuss other arrangements depending on circumstances.
