Speake-Marin Picadilly Arabic Cream Enamel

Featured on page 30 of the book detailing the art and work of Peter Speake-Marin "A Passion for Watchmaking" this piece is inspired by the pocket watch designs of the end of the 19th century. This wonderfully classic piece featres a hand made enamel dial with black Arabic numerals. Speake-Marin's design elements are all present: extended lugs, heart-shaped hands, jeweled crown, rotor cutouts inspired by the classic watchmaker's "topping" tool. The 18K rose gold crown adds a nice contrast. The original Speake Marin strap shows signs of moderate use. This piece also features Speake-Marin's original tang buckle design with extended screw heads.
