To commemorate the return of Hong Kong from the British to Chinese rule on July 1, 1997, Vacheron Constantin, the world's oldest watch manufacturer since 1755, produced these 1997 Limited Edition watches to witness this historic milestone. This special edition automatic watches are limited to only 197 pieces in 18K yellow gold and 297 pieces in 18K white gold. 

The watch I am offering here is in polished 18K white gold which has a traditionally Vacheron Constantin curly lugs and diameter is 33 mm. Painted white gold Chinese ideograms and the dedication in Chinese. "Baton" white gold hands. Vacheron Constantin Caliber 1130 self-winding movement, rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 21 jewels, lever escapement, mono metallic balance, 5 adjustments, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. 

Watch has not been worn since I bought it except I have put it on my wrist for some photo-shooting. It comes with Certificate of Origin and Warranty, Limited Edition Certification, Vacheron Constantin booklet, Vacheron Constantin leather case and original box.
