As I do not yet have one I have, however, mostly narrowed down to two models... the pink gold Richard Lange you so nicely capture, and the grey dial white gold L1. I feel as though the L1 is more the "essence" of AL&S, but just cannot stop thinking about ...  

I hadn't thought of what to wear come Monday, but I guess you've now help me decide. Rez...

Today I enjoyed my Platinum FA Jones from IWC...

Makes one appreciate the Regulateur format even more, an often unappreciated form of precision timekeeping. Thanks for sharing!!

The regulators are so under appreciated... I wonder why. Their Esthetic? The difficulty to easily read the hour, at the beginning? Don't know, but they ere interesting watches, I think, and original too. Best. nicolas

I think not due to aesthetics but more the difficulty of "reading". I think the key to appreciating these Regulators is to set the mindset that these are precision chronometers and as such, the main focus of the eyes/attention should be on the minute hand...
