After Market FF Strap/Deployant Clasp Confusion
Hi All,
I've been tearing my hair out trying to get some information, via a large London AD, about purchasing a new strap for my FF Tribute to Aqualung (deployant clasp) - I'd like a new sailcloth strap without the portholes - just to, you know, mix it up a bit...
Problem is that after an episode of email tennis with the AD, I've now been told that Blancpain can only supply me a standard sailcloth strap with a pin buckle, or a straight replacement 'porthole' strap that can take the deployant buckle.
I'm not entirely certain this is correct information.... I've seen standard sailcloth straps on FFs with deployant clasps many times before - is it possible to fit a deployant clasp to a standard pin buckle strap?
Can anyone please help?
