HELP needed, strap changing a ff gmt
Hi all! I have worn out the straps of my Old Trilogy FF GMT, I was wondering if it has the usual springbars or a friction thing. I dont want to try and remove the strap until I know for sure if it is a springbar or a friction pin ( im used to changing straps with a springbar). I noted it has drilled through lugs but I need input from the guys who had done a strapchange before I go for it. Id appreciate the help. Cheers!

Hi Benjo Welcome here firstly
which FF is it can you tell us the year as i have a FF Air Command and it has one solid pin which you need to know how to remove can be tricky i have not done one myself but i have seen it done give us some more info thanks

Honestly, I dont know what year this came about, im guessing 2005. Its originally on a rubber strap. i hope the folks here can bear with me. Heres a scan if it. thanks....

you can see on the lugs there is a pin hole running from one end to the other that pin is solid and needs to be driven out with a special tool its actually a very safe proof system better if you see someone do it first good luck

the answer is yes, Im fund of playing with straps. Im primarily a Paneristi for a couple of years now and I guess its given that I have an incurable strap craze. Im thinking the ff would look great on a sailcloth strap or a chronissimo. cheers and thanks ...
