I love the watch on my wrist!!!!
My wife and I first found Brequet when in Vienna last September (The Breguet Boutique). The discovery sent me on a obsession with high level watches.
I own a stainless/gold Raymond Weil a Stainless Rolex and a IWC chrongraph but, ever since seeing Breguet, I have wanted one.
Last week end I finally dove in to my cravings. I purchased a new 5907 from the Breguet dealer in Chicago.
I looked at Breguet, PP and VC. Although I love Breguet, I almost bought the VC but, it was the same style as my IWC and I wanted a gold dress watch...hence Breguet 5907.
I had previsouly asked, on this site, about buying a watch on the grey market (internet) vs. official Breguet retailer.
I cannot say more about buying Breguet from an authorized retailer. I thought that the internet would be less expensive, although I was concerned about fakes, stolen pieces, etc. The official dealer was a pleasure to deal with and it was less expensive than the grey market that I located.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the official retailer.
The only down side is that it cost me another $2500 at the retailer to get my wife a bracelet as a peace offering!!!!
Women do not understand our justified obsession with beautiful watches.
