I bought one around half a year ago and would make the following observiations - on the positive side, it's simply a very beautiful watch, lovely to have on the wrist. On the negative side, it's quite hard to see the dials which makes me generally use another more easily read watch on days I know I'm going to be checking the time a lot. Also the hand-winding part can be fun to do every morning, but because i can't put it on a watch-winder when I go on a business trip (I would generally not take it with me) by the time I'm back I need to reset it.
I would also take a look at the non-openworked Breguet perpetuals (gold and platinum) -they are also stunning and much easier to see. If Breguet ever make those watches self winding, I might even buy another Breguet pertetual!
