Hello,
I have been smitten recently by the case, dial and overall appearance of the Breguet Heriatge Chronograph in YG. This was the first breguet that I held over 4 years ago upon my entry into high horology. I wound up purchasing my first "real" watch that day, an Aeronavale in SS.
Well, I am back to wanting a classic looking Breguet and the Heritage Chronograph has been on the list for a while. I was wondering which column wheel chronograph movement is housed inside the beautifuly designed case? It is a Lemania or a F. Piguet? Which movement does the Breguet 550 correspond to?
Also, I have done a search on this forum and have only found two threads which discuss the Heritage Chrono. Am I missing something? Is there a review or thread discussing quality and robustnuss of the movement - the chronograph function? Can the chronograph be left running all the time like the Piguet 1185?
Any assistance and insight is always appreciated!
Kind regards,
asg
