What elevates this specific piece to a museum-tier collectible is its flawless combination of a matching-numbers 18k solid gold case, authentic 1930s sandwich/multi-scale dial, and its incredible state of preservation.
The Dial
The dial is a work of art. It features an incredibly complex, original two-tone multi-scale "snail" layout including an outer telemeter scale and a central spiral tachymeter track. It is of true sandwich construction with recessed sub-dials.
The Case & Movement
The 34 mm case is rendered in solid 18k gold and features rare, incredibly elegant wire-style downturned lugs and early rectangular chronograph pushers.
