Hi all,
FOR SALE is my Hamilton Chrono-matic Pan-Europ 703.
This watch is the Hamilton branded version which is incredibly similar to the Heuer Autavia released at the same time. The main difference being the dial and bezel colour on the Hammy is navy blue (..and the price being a fraction of the Heuers!).
This watch dates from about 1969 and is one of the famous "Project 11" pieces developed between Breitling, Heuer and Hamilton as part of the race to deliver the first automatic chronograph in 1969. The race was against Zenith with their El Primero and Seiko with the 6139. The movement is marked with an "11" showing it to be from the original batch released between 69-71.
(Google "Project 11" or "chronomatic" and "onthedash" for more info)
