This watch was created in celebration of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
It has an extraordinary striking feature i.e. the five interlocking colored Olympic Rings are mounted on the counterweights of the central chronograph seconds hand and the inscription "Official Timekeeper" is stamped on the case back of the watch.
This watch is water resistant to 600 metres/2000 feet. It has screw-in crown and screw-down case back, helium escape valve which allows atoms of gas to escape during decompression, aluminium uni-directional rotating bezel featuring a luminous dot and the highly visible hands.
Matt black dial and the applied luminous hour markers and the Arabic numerals in white offer great contrast. Date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. The facetted rhodium-plated arrowhead hour and minute hands have SuperLuminova inserts and a highly visible red tip further enhances the luminous arrowhead seconds hand. All these are invaluable for measuring precise dive times, even when descending to the darkest depths of the ocean.
This watch is fitted with the high-quality self-winding movement, Federic Piguet based Calibre 3313 which has a power reserve of 52 hours. The Co-Axial escapement, proprietary Omega technology, considerably reduces friction in the heart of the watch mechanism and offers improved long-term reliability and accuracy. A free-sprung balance further improves this COSC-certified chronometer standard watch. The column-wheel chronograph mechanism serves to perfect the chronograph’s performance. Diameter of the watch is 45.5mm.
Watch comes with a comfortable unique Omega rubber strap with white stitching and a stainless steel fold over safety clasp.
Watch is in a mint condition with all functions running perfectly. It comes with complete documentation including Omega Olympic Official Timekeeper booklet, Warranty card, Pictograms, Chronometer Certificate and the original Omega Olympic box.
